    เมื่อเวลา 12.00น.วันที่ 21 ตุลาคม2562 ผู้สื่อข่าวรับแจ้งว่ามีเหตุคนร้ายพยายามลักทรัพย์ถังแก๊สแต่แม่บ้านร้านมาพบเสียก่อนจึงทำให้คนร้ายหลบหนีไป โดยกล้องวงจรปิดสามารถจับภาพไว้ได้ ที่เกิดเหตุร้านขายอาหารตามสั่งกลางซอยข้างร้านทีวีมิวสิค ซ. รังสิต-นครนายก32 เลขที่13  ต.ประชาธิปัตย์  อ.ธัญบุรี   จ.ปทุมธานี

ที่เกิดเหตุเป็นร้ายขายอาหารตามสั่งหน้าร้านพบนางนภาพร  สุขอนันต์อายุ 47 ปี แม่บ้านร้านชี้ให้ดูถังแก๊สหุงต้มใบใหญ่ที่คนร้ายยกออกมาจากด้านในร้านมาวางไว้ริมทาง เพื่อที่จะขโมยไปแต่โชคดีที่ตนเองออกมาพบเสียงก่อน โดยเหตุการณ์นี้เกิด11.15น.ของวันนี้ โดยที่ตนเองนั่งอยู่ฝั่งตรงข้ามเบื้องๆร้าน พบเห็นชาย1คนปั่นจักรยานมาจอดที่หน้าร้าน ก่อนจะเดินเข้าไปภายในร้านแล้วยกถังแก๊สออกมาไว้ที่ถนนก่อนจะขึ้นคร่อมจักรยานปั่นและยกถังแก๊สวางไว้ทีด้านหน้า ตนเองจึงตะโกนบอกแม่บ้านอีกคนว่ากำลังจะถูกลักทรัพย์ จึงช่วยกันตะโกนให้คนร้ายวางถังแก๊สลงก่อนที่คนร้ายจะวางและรีบปั่นจักรยานหลบหนีไป

ทั้งนี้หลังเกิดเหตุตนเองได้โทรแจ้งนายแจ้งเพื่อประสานเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจให้ช่วยติดตามตัวคนร้ายมาสอบปากคำ ซึ่งเป็นคนที่ไม่เคยพบเห็นมาก่อน และจากการตรวจสอบกล้องวงจรปิดพบสามารถจับภาพไว้ได้อย่างชัดเจน จึงขอให้ร้านจำหน่ายอาหารเฝ้าระวังและควรล๊อคโซ่ไว้ให้แน่นนอนเพราะคนร้ายไม่เกรงกลัวแม้กลางวันแสกๆยังลงมือ
